November 28th 2014
Avery Healthcare’s new Spencer House Care Home in Northampton was officially opened by Earl Spencer on Wednesday 26th November 2014.
Spencer House will offer high quality residential care and dementia care, helping residents live active and fulfilling lives.
Following a tour of Spencer House Care Home with John Strowbridge, Managing Director of Avery Healthcare and Marius Feeney, Spencer House Home Manager, Earl Spencer had the opportunity to meet residents of the new care home before unveiling the official opening plaque – one of whom was a lady in her 90s, who helped as a guide at Althorp during the previous Earl Spencer’s lifetime.
To mark the occasion, Avery Healthcare donated £1,000 to Whole Child UK (a charity which helps improve conditions for orphans in the Developing World, founded by Countess Spencer in 2004).
