Top celebrity chefs including ‘master of the wok’ Ken Hom OBE, ‘the nation’s favourite French chef’ Jean-Christophe Novelli, ‘queen of couture cakes’ Mich Turner MBE and MasterChef winner Natalie Coleman will be appearing at Althorp Food & Drink Festival on 11thand 12thof May. The Festival is set to showcase over 100 diverse and inspiring food and drink stands, as well as live music and show-stopping demonstrations suitable for the whole family.

As an exciting new addition for 2019, guests can now gain a unique opportunity to learn from the best with 90-minute cooking Masterclasses taught by headlining chefs. These Masterclasses give Festival-goers a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite chefs, learning tips and techniques first-hand with their expert guidance. There are a variety of Masterclasses taking place over the weekend including Chinese cookery with Ken Hom, classic French cuisine with Jean-Christophe Novelli and cake decorating with Mich Turner– using the exact same cake Mich baked for the Queen!

As well as a range of cookery classes, the Festival will also feature a number of drinks Masterclasses throughout the weekend. This includes a Cocktail-Making Masterclass where participants can learn to make their favourite tipple and a Champagne Occasions Masterclass with expert-led tastings.

The Festival also features kids cookery classes, including pizza making, scone baking and biscuit decorating classes. Mini MasterChefs can try their hand at cooking like a pro with MasterChef winner Natalie Coleman’s Kids Masterclass.

Masterclasses are booking up very quickly and must be pre-booked here.

Festival tickets from £8.50 are available now and children under 12 go free with a paying adult!
